The Columbiana County Democratic Party selected its new chairman.
The party announced Charley Kidder will serve as chairman.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity to advocate for the values of rural Democrats,” said Kidder. “I want our party to champion the hard-working people of Columbiana County who deserve a fair shake. Everyday hardworking laborers, teachers and farmers do everything they can to raise a family and make their lives better and too often their needs are pushed aside by big business and millionaires.”
Kidder, a lifelong Lisbon resident, has operated his law practice in Salem since 2006. He is a former Center Township trustee, New Waterford Village solicitor and currently is the magistrate for Wellsville
Mayors’ Court and the Columbiana County Common Pleas’s foreclosure mediator.
