(WKBN) — One person died following an accident in Trumbull County on Wednesday.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, it happened around 4:30 p.m. on Durst Clagg Road, south of state Route 305 in Bazetta.
A car and motorcycle crashed and the motorcyclist died. The motorcyclist has been identified as Marc Jones, 56, of Cortland.
The driver of the car slowed down to turn westbound toward a private drive. Highway Patrol says Jones lost control, traveled left of center, overturned and hit the car, throwing him off of his motorcycle.
Jones was taken to Trumbull Regional Medical Center, where he died.
The driver of the car was not injured.
Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
