Hundreds of kids in the Valley will wake up Christmas morning with gifts under the tree thanks to the generosity of students at Canfield High School.
Wednesday was delivery day at the school as they once again participated in the Salvation Army “Angel Tag” drive.
Students collected toys for weeks, then loaded them up on the truck. The Student Council spearheaded the drive.
“There’s a lot of people in this community that just can’t make ends meet in December and this gives them an opportunity to kind of like take a breath because we’re helping Salvation Army provide gifts for these kids,” said Claire, Student Council president.
This year, the school supplied items for 150 children.
