Jennifer Forte, charged with three counts of child endangering in Warren, Ohio

Officers say they went to a home in Warren after a mother was suspected of overdosing in her bed.

The boyfriend of the mother said he thought something was wrong after he called her and she didn’t answer. He left work and went to the home on the 800 block of Sylvan St. on Friday.

That man told officers he found the woman, identified as 23-year-old Jennifer Forte, in her bed with their 5-month-old infant next to her.

He said two other children, a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old, were unsupervised upstairs.

Police said officers and EMTs gave Forte naloxone and took her to the hospital.

She is facing three counts of child endangering.

The children are in the custody of their fathers.

No other injuries were reported.

Forte appeared in court on Monday, she pleaded not guilty. She will appear in court again on June 18.
