Boardman schools remembering Parkland victims, holding “Legacy Lockdown”

The Boardman School District is holding a lockdown on Thursday.

The drill will be held as the Second Annual Legacy Lockdown to remember the victims of the shooting in Parkland, Florida. In 2017, over 40 emergency responders attended the event.

The drill will start at 10:05 with an announcement, then students will have the drill. The event will conclude with the Spartan Clap Out, where students can thank first responders and after, there will be a shirt raffle.
