BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Two OVI checkpoints are planned for Friday night into Thursday morning in Boardman.
The first will be from 10 p.m. to midnight on South Avenue near Midlothian Boulevard.
The second will be from 12:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Market Street near Ferncliff Avenue.
Saturation patrols will also be conducted this weekend throughout Mahoning County.
OVI checkpoints are planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers, according to the Mahoning County OVI Task Force.
