PITTSBURGH (WKBN) – A U.S. District judge in Pittsburgh ordered a Boardman doctor to pay $1.1 million to the IRS.

Dr. William Houser, Jr. did not pay $900,000 in his own taxes and the taxes for his 12 workers. What he now has to pay also includes the interest he owes.

Houser will have to spend 24 weekends in a halfway house and will be on probation for five years as well.

If he does not pay the $1.1 million, he’ll be sent to prison.
