People braving the weather this weekend are hoping to catch a glimpse of a mythical creature in Columbiana County.

Bigfoot is rumored to hang out at Beaver Creek State Park.

The creature is being celebrated at a two-day event this weekend at the park’s Pioneer Village.

Bigfoot researchers will talk about their findings.

There will also be food trucks and other vendors.

“I’ve never seen him. I’ve been here all my life but I have had several people say they have heard and seen him, so it’s all in what you want to believe,” said Dan Lyon, with Friends of Beaver Creek State Park.

Schedule of events:

8 a.m. to noon — Pancake breakfast

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Food vendors and vendors of Sasquatch-related items
