Landing a job in the education field and Finding the right person to fit your school system is sometimes hard.
So Mahoning County Career and Technical Center has bridged that gap with their fourth annual teacher and substitute teacher job fair.
More than 10 school districts were represented at the fair. With some superintendents showing up as well. This gave applicants and recruiters a chance to meet face to face and put a resume to a face.

event at MCCTC.
Over 100 people pre-registered for the event.
All looking to get their foot in the education door.
“Well the districts say it’s been very successful what we do, so everyone that shows up registers. So whether or not someone talks to a district, the district still gets their information so it’s possible the district will reach out to them if they have a licensee in something they’re looking for,” said organizer Chery McArthur.
If you missed this teacher and substitute teaching fair, they plan on having another one around the same time next year.
