Angels for Animals sees increase in drop-offs, looks for foster families

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Angels for Animals is looking for help from the community as the shelter sees a recent increase in drop-offs.

Within the the past few days, nearly 50 cats and kittens were left there. Now, the shelter is looking for people to become fosters for these animals.

“People who volunteer to take care of these animals until we can get them back into the shelter can help save lives because we don’t have a lot of holding space in the shelter,” said co-founder Diane Less.

Foster periods typically last around eight to 10 weeks. The shelter supplies food and litter for foster families.
