YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – There is plenty to celebrate with Passover, which starts in the evening Friday night.
Wednesday, the Akiva Academy students were learning about the Jewish holiday.
They took part in a Model Seder at the Jewish Community Center. What they did was a shortened version of a Passover Seder.
The children from kindergarten through eigth grade read and sang from the special book of Passover. They also learned about the 14 steps, which are performed during the evening, as well as the traditional foods of Passover.
