(WKBN) – More than $2 million will help projects at Utica Shale Academy of Ohio.

The $2.3 million grant will be used for the Connecting Communities Through Workforce Training project.

The goal is to help reduce transportation barriers for families affected by substance abuse disorders.

The project also calls for more workforce training programs in Carrol, Columbiana, Jefferson and Mahoning counties.
