AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — The two suspects from Friday afternoon gunfire in Austintown were identified Saturday morning.

According to Austintown Police Chief Bob Gavalier, Austin Swiger, 23, and Merrissa Durda, 33, are both charged with felonious assault.

Durda was also charged with tampering with evidence and obstructing official business.

Shots were fired Friday afternoon in Austintown, but no one was injured.

The two were arrested after police responded to a gunfire call at about 2 p.m. on Elmwood Avenue.

Both are expected to be arraigned Monday in Mahoning County Area Court in Austintown.
