STRUTHERS, Ohio (WKBN) – A woman was cited after a train and an SUV crashed into each other in Struthers on Thursday night.

Aikaterine Maglis, 53, of Campbell, was cited for driver’s responsibility at railroad tracks.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the driver stopped on railroad tracks due to traffic. Troopers said that the driver stopped on the tracks at a red light. OSHP said that the stoplight turned green when the barrier came down.

It happened at State Street and South Bridge Street around 7 p.m. The area was blocked off but has since been cleared.

Maglis was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK.

Highway Patrol reminded all drivers to never stop on railroad tracks.
