BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) — Two people died after a motorcycle crash in Berlin Township on Monday.

Christie Olson, 60, has died after being taken to the hospital. Another passenger on the motorcycle, 62-year-old Joseph Olson, of Windham, died at the scene.

The accident involving a pickup truck and motorcycle happened around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bedell Road and Route 224.

The pickup truck driver was a 17-year-old from Deerfield, who was checked on the scene and was not hurt in the crash.

The Olsons were both wearing helmets, and the truck driver was wearing a seatbelt.

OSHP, the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office and Berlin Township Fire and EMS were on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
