House damaged by fire in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Crews in Youngstown worked early Monday morning to control a fire on the south side of the city.

Firefighters were called about 4:15 a.m. to a home in the 400 block of West Ravenwood Avenue where they found flames coming from the porch of the house.

The fire spread to a small portion of the main part of the house, but most of the damage was sustained to the porch.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation.
