YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Just months after taking on his latest political job, Bob Hagan is apparently moving on.

Hagan confirmed Wednesday that he is stepping down from his position with the Ohio State Board of Education.

WKBN has reached out to Hagan since then to ask why and where he plans to go, but has not heard back from the former state representative.

Hagan was elected to the state board last November after being term-limited out of the state House of Representatives.

Governor John Kasich has the authority to name a replacement to serve until after the November general election.
