CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — According to unofficial voting returns, Don Dragish was elected as the Canfield mayor with 45% of votes.

Dragish faced up against Kathryn Young and Bruce Neff after current mayor Richard Duffet said he wouldn’t seek reelection. Neff wasn’t far behind with 40% of the votes.

Dragish previously served as council president, while Neff is a current city council member. Young serves on the Parks and Recreation as well as Cemetery boards.

Dragish said one goal as he gets into office is to bring new business to Canfield.

“I work with several different businesses all the time. It’s what I do. Like I said, I believe that there’s a few different projects in places where that’s gonna be able to happen,” he said.
