Why should you be elected
We need a change in the commissioner’s office. I will take a fresh approach and make this office more transparent. My style of leadership is based on open communication, collaboration and cooperation. I had a 35 year career in education. Twenty seven years as a teacher and eight as a middle school principal. I developed budgets, supervised teachers and support staff and negotiated contracts. I also helped write grants during my 35 year career. I have the skills needed to perform the tasks of this office.

Top three priorities
1) Improving transparency by practicing the three C’s of leadership. (Communication, collaboration and cooperation.)
2) Organizing a nonpartisan task force to study the problems at the County Jail and make recommendations to improve the conditions at the jail.
3) Develop a plan to deal with all forms of chemical dependency.
