Saturday, Oct. 20
12:09 a.m. – 100 block of Regent Ave., Richard Garcia, 28, charged with receiving stolen property, and Raymond Johnson, 26, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Following a traffic stop, officers discovered that the vehicle Garcia was driving was reported stolen out of Campbell. It was also discovered that Johnson, his passenger, had a crack pipe, several pills and a white powder substance in his pocket, a police report stated.
5:30 p.m. – 800 block of E. Midlothian Blvd., Anthony Bonner, 37, charged with abduction, burglary and domestic violence. According to a police report, Bonner was sitting in his car talking with a woman outside of a house on Bancroft Avenue when he became angry and drove away with the woman inside. The woman told police that Bonner would not let her out of the car and punched her several times, splitting her lip. Police say Bonner stopped the car somewhere in the area of Lincoln Knolls and let the woman out. He then went back to the house on Bancroft Avenue and took a 3-year-old child from the home and drove away, the report stated. Bonner returned the child a short time later. Police say he placed the boy on the porch, banged on the door and drove away. Another woman inside the house let the child in. Bonner was stopped on Midlothian Boulevard where he was arrested.
Sunday, Oct. 21
11 a.m. – 900 block of Elm St., Terrance Williams 42, charged with felonious assault. According to a police report, Williams attacked another man following a church service for brushing up against him. Police said Williams started punching the victim and when the victim was on the ground, Williams took a chair and hit him with it. The victim was taken to the hospital.
3 p.m. – 300 block of W. Warren Ave., a woman reported that someone smashed out the window of her rental car. A brick was found near the vehicle.
8:25 p.m. – Oak St., aggravated robbery. Workers at the Dollar General told police that man approached the locked doors of the store, knocked and pointed a gun at the door. Surveillance video shows three men approach the door from Clay Street. All three were carrying guns and wearing hoodies with their faces covered, according to a police report.
Wednesday, Oct. 24
12:01 a.m. – 1400 block of Himrod Ave., breaking and entering. A 42-year-old man told police that someone broke into his garage and took a handgun, rifle, torch and toolbox.
10:41 p.m. – 800 block of Mabel St., burglary. A 36-year-old woman told police that someone broke into her house. The woman told police that she came home to find a window open in the upstairs bathroom and her son’s tablet and phone missing.
