Warren crime activity: Police say mom drove group of girls to fight

Saturday, February 2

1:21 a.m. - Tod Avenue SW and Maple Street SW, Bradley Woolard, 25, and Margaret Hanzes, 22, both of Newton Falls, both arrested and charged with possession of drug abuse instruments. Police said they found drug tools, including syringes and a crack pipe, in the car Woolard and Hanzes were in during a traffic stop. Officers said they found suspected crack cocaine down Woolard's pants. He could face more charges after drug lab test results come back.

3:34 a.m. - 2400 block of Youngstown Rd. SE, break-in at Family Dollar.

11:03 a.m. - 500 block of South St. SE, John Streeter, 59, arrested and charged with petty theft and drug paraphernalia. A Dollar General employee told police Streeter tried to steal a bag full of items from the store. Police caught up to him but said he'd already gotten rid of or hid all of the stolen items. They found a crack pipe on him, according to a police report.

9:04 p.m. - 1100 block of Parkman Rd. NW, a woman told police her ex-boyfriend stole her dog. She said he came into the house without her permission and picked up the puppy, saying he was going to take it outside to show his brother. She told him not to but said he told her, "Get out of my way" and pushed past her.

9:30 p.m. - 800 block of Summit St. NW, Marlene Rodriguez, 40, charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police responded to a report of four to five girls outside of a house, wanting to fight the caller's daughter. Officers pulled over the car the group of girls was in, which they said Rodriguez was driving. Police claim she brought them to the house to antagonize a fight. Rodriguez said she drove there to talk to the girl's mother about a fight between their daughters earlier in the day. Rodriguez said once they got there, her daughter and the girl who lived there started fighting but she broke it up.

10:12 p.m. - Halladay Avenue SW and S. Raiders Path, a man's body was found on the side of the road with a jacket wrapped around his head. Police later identified him as 50-year-old Joseph Cornelius Nall. They're investigating it as a questionable death.

Sunday, February 3

5:48 p.m. - 2000 block of N. Feederle Dr. SE, a man told police he found bullet holes on his front door.

Monday, February 4

12:30 a.m. - 900 block of W. Market St., break-in at Boost Mobile. Police said someone took some items from the store and cash from the register.
