Saturday, November 10

Haymaker Avenue, Marketa Jackson, charged with prohibitions concerning companion animals. Officers said her injured dog was found in a cage on the back porch, outside in the cold.

11:18 p.m. - Hall Street NW and Vernon Avenue NW, a man reported to police that a group of men accused him of stealing a bike, then took his phone and beat him up.

Sunday, November 11

11:29 p.m. - 200 block of Forest St. NW, a woman said someone shot at her house. No one was hurt.

Tuesday, November 13

10:48 a.m. - 2200 block of Kenwood Dr. SW, Alec Facemire, 20, arrested and charged with abduction. Police responded to reports of two teen girls being held against their will. The girls told police Facemire would not let them leave the house. Officers said they found him hiding in a bedroom closet.

Thursday, November 15

11:25 a.m. - 1300 block of Larchmont Ave. NE, reported home burglary.

5:09 p.m. - Youngstown Road SE and Homewood Avenue, Maxwell Cozadd, 24, arrested and charged with possession of drug abuse instruments. Officers pulled over the car Cozadd was riding in and said he had needles in his hoodie pocket. They also found syringes, a digital scale, a spoon and suspected LSD, according to a police report.

Friday, November 16

2:06 a.m. - 800 block of Garden St. NW, Christina Stevens, 25, of North Jackson, arrested and charged with drug paraphernalia. Police said they saw two people sitting in a running vehicle in the Stonegate Apartments parking lot. Police said Stevens admitted she had a glass crack pipe and folded piece of paper with brown powder inside. The body scanner at the jail showed that she hid it in her bra, according to a police report.

Sunday, November 18

8:46 p.m. - 700 block of N. Park Ave., reported home burglary.

9:57 p.m. - 1300 block of Mahoning Ave. NW, reported home burglary.

Monday, November 19

2:30 a.m. - 100 block of Forest St. NE, break-in at Scarpaci Wholesale. Police said the person responsible got away with a charity change jar.

11:41 p.m. - Central Parkway SE and Milton Street SE, Charles Parker, 23, arrested on a warrant and charged with possession of drugs and illegal conveyance of weapons or prohibited items onto grounds of a detention facility. Police pulled Parker over and said he had a small baggie of marijuana in his pocket. When he was at the jail, officers found Suboxone strips in his socks, according to a police report.

Tuesday, November 20

1:03 a.m. - 500 block of Hall St. NW, Billy Morrow, Sr., 48, arrested and charged with aggravated burglary. Police said Morrow broke into a couple's home and the husband shot him in the arm. He held Morrow there until officers arrived.

Wednesday, November 21

1:30 a.m. - 1900 block of Highland Ave., police said a man was shot in the parking lot of J&L Lounge and then drove himself to the hospital.

4:40 p.m. - 2700 block of Mahoning Ave. NW, Jeffrey Judd, 60, of Vienna, arrested and charged with endangering children. Police said they found an 8-year-old walking around the Giant Eagle parking lot, unsupervised with no coat on. They said Judd left him in the car while he went into the store but the child got out of the car.

Thursday, November 22

6:15 p.m. - 1300 block of Robert Ave. NW, reported apartment burglary.

9:12 p.m. - 1300 block of Southern Blvd. NW, a man said he was robbed at gunpoint in his home by three men.

Saturday, November 24

10:39 a.m. - 200 block of Elm Rd. NE, reported break-in at Gilmour's Carpet Gallery. Police said the person responsible took cash from the register.

Monday, November 26

11:21 a.m. - 200 block of Vermont Ave. NW, reported burglary at a home where there had been a fire earlier that morning.

4:03 p.m. - 2700 block of Burton St. SE, reported home burglary.

5:02 p.m. - 500 block of Washington St. NE, reported home burglary.

Wednesday, November 28

2 p.m. - 1500 block of Parkman Rd. NW, Anthony Zachery, Sr., 46, charged with domestic violence.
