Warren crime activity: Officers report finding crack pipe in shoplifter's pockets

Wednesday, November 28

12:30 p.m. - 100 block of High St., David Blasco, 64, arrested on a warrant. Blasco has been accused of running a brothel out of a home on Kenilworth Avenue in Warren. He was picked up so he could appear in court on an abduction charge related to that case. He pleaded guilty.

5:03 p.m. - 600 block of Vine Ave. NE, reported garage break-in.

7:59 p.m. - 500 block of Butler Rd. NE, reported home burglary.

Thursday, November 29

4:42 p.m. - 800 block of Dana St. NE, reported home burglary. The victim said his three children were upstairs sleeping when the burglary took place.

Friday, November 30

11:34 a.m. - 2000 block of Palmyra Rd. SW, reported garage burglary.

2:15 p.m. - 1500 block of Francis Ave. SE, a man said three young men jumped him and beat him up. He said they took his cell phone and ran.

Saturday, December 1

4:55 p.m. - 600 block of E. Market St., Joshua Gould, 30, of Niles, arrested and charged with petty theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Gould tried to steal two power bank chargers from CVS. When they were searching him for the stolen items, officers said they also found a glass crack pipe in his pocket.

Sunday, December 2

1:27 p.m. - 3700 block of Tod Ave. NW, reported home burglary.
