Liberty crime activity: Woman faces drug charge after searching dumpster

Sunday, Jan. 27

11:10 a.m. – Taco Bell at 3551 Belmont Ave., a woman reported to police that after using her credit card at Taco Bell, the card had fraudulent charges. She said the woman taking her order on Jan. 8 took longer than usual with her credit card. She found the suspect’s name for police while searching on Facebook. 

Wednesday, Jan. 30

12:44 a.m. – Aldi’s at 3497 Belmont Ave., officers say they went to the grocery store for reports of a woman trying to break into cars. When they arrived, they say they found a woman inside the dumpster. She says she was looking for cookies. She gave them the wrong identity before telling them her real name. After being taken to jail, officers say they found pills in a prescription bottle. They also found four pills in a napkin on a bench where she was sitting. Lisha Roberts, 51, was charged with falsification, obstructing official business, drug abuse, and failure to appear.
