Hubbard crime activity: Police investigate theft of gas from Pine Lakes Golf Club

Thursday, Feb. 28

1:20 a.m. – 800 block of S. Main St., police were called for an argument between two teenage sisters over bunk beds. Officers tried talking to the girls, who they said refused to respond to questions. 

Saturday, March 2

10:54 a.m. – 6200 block of W. Liberty St., police were called to Pine Lakes Golf Club, where someone stole gas. Police said surveillance video showed a woman breaking the lock off of the gas tank and a man pouring the gas into a container and then into a vehicle. Police are investigating and have identified a potential suspect. 

Sunday, March 3

9:21 a.m. – 800 block of School St., police received a report of profane text messages. Those involved were told to stop texting one another and block each other’s phone numbers. 

Wednesday, March 6

3:44 p.m. – 300 block of S. Main St., a woman reported that a 2007 Honda off-road motorcycle was stolen from her detached garage. She said the motorcycle had been stolen sometime between February 19 and March 2.
