East Liverpool crime activity: Woman comes home to find door broken, TV in hall

Police investigated the following incidents in East Liverpool from Nov. 1-21

Thursday, Nov. 1

11:35 a.m. - 300 block of N. Shadylane Dr., reported vandalism. A woman said two of her car’s tires had been slashed since she started having problems with several people.

Saturday, Nov. 3

1:12 a.m. - 600 block of St. Clair Ave., reported breaking and entering. A woman reported that her door had been broken down and she found her TV sitting a few feet away from her apartment door, down the hallway. Nothing appeared to be missing, according to a police report. 

Monday, Nov. 5

9:50 a.m. - 900 block of St. Clair Ave., reported theft. A woman told police that her purse was stolen from her car while she went to visit a friend.

8:52 p.m. - 600 block of Walnut St., reported theft. A man told police someone had stolen about $5 in change from his car.

Saturday, Nov. 10

2:15 a.m. - 100 block of Maine Blvd., Jeremy Reese, 25, charged with possession of marijuana and operation of vehicle at yield sign. Reese was pulled over for running through a stop sign in a car and making a U-turn in the middle of the road, according to a police report. Police then said they found two marijuana roaches in the car after noticing Reese’s eyes were glossy and his speech was slurred.

Sunday, Nov. 11

6:08 a.m. - 1500 block of Lisbon St., Kylie Kreefer, 22, charged with public intoxication. A man and woman were inside of a house when Kreefer starting kicking down the door and screaming, according to a police report. When the woman went outside, Kreefer started fighting with her, causing injuries, the report states. While talking with Kreefer about the fight, police said they could smell alcohol on her.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

4:13 p.m. - 3200 block of St. Clair Ave., reported theft. A worker at the Smith Oil Co. gas station reported that someone in a red Chevrolet Cavalier drove off without paying for $22 worth of gas.

Saturday, Nov. 17

4:09 a.m. - 200 block of Wilbert Ave., reported theft. A woman called police saying her boyfriend had taken her car without permission. Charges could be pressed if he doesn’t return the car.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

6:36 p.m. - 400 block of Vine St., reported theft. A man called police to file a complaint about a friend who he said stole $8,000 from him.
