Friday, May 18

12:55 a.m. – 4000 block of Mahoning Ave., Brenna Clark, 18, of Warren, arrested on outstanding warrant and Cody Kale, 25, arrested and charged with aggravated menacing. Police said a man called them after getting into an argument with his girlfriend, Clark. According to the police report, Clark got out of the vehicle after the argument and walked to Kale’s house, who is her relative. The boyfriend called police for an escort to drop the car off to Clark, saying he wasn’t comfortable going alone out of fear there may have been weapons at the home. Police said he also told them Clark had an active warrant for her arrest. When police got there, they said they heard Kale threaten to “kill” the boyfriend.

Saturday, May 19

3:27 p.m. – 1700 block of S. Raccoon Rd., Jon Jordan, 55, of Youngstown, charged with OVI. Officers said they got a call about a man sleeping in his truck in the parking lot of McDonald’s. When they arrived, they said the truck was still running and Jordan had open beer cans inside. He had a blood-alcohol content of .251, over the legal limit of .08, according to police.

10:39 p.m. – 4400 block of Kirk Rd., Robert Kolby, III, 26, charged with obstructing official business, theft, misuse of credit cards, drug possession, drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest. According to a police report, an Uber driver called police after he said Kolby was inside Speedway buying things with the driver’s credit cards. According to a police report, the Uber driver took Kolby to multiple locations and when they returned to Speedway, he checked his bank account balance and noticed $742.74 in unauthorized charges. The driver thought Kolby stole the cards from the center console. When Kolby came out of the store, he spotted officers and took off running, police said. The officers were not able to catch him, but found him later and arrested him. They said in the process, Kolby tried to get rid of drugs he had on him.

Monday, May 21

9:38 p.m. – N. Navarre and Oakwood avenues, Edith Steiner, 59, charged with DUI. Police said a car was driving in the wrong direction, heading toward their cruiser. They said it came within inches of hitting it. After a traffic stop, Steiner blew a .207 blood-alcohol content, according to a police report.

11:51 p.m. – 100 block of Lexington Pl., Dustin Garcia, 26, of Warren, charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing and failure to disclose personal information. Police were called to a home for a man who was bleeding and banging on the door. Police said the residents of the home did not know Garcia and when officers went up to him, he became uncooperative. They said when they asked his name, he told them it was “Joe Dirt” and laughed. He was taken to the hospital and then to jail.

Tuesday, May 22

9:44 p.m. – 5200 block of Seventy Six Dr., Tiffany Uher, 30, of Orwell, Ohio, arrested and charged with soliciting and possession of criminal tools and Nicholas Shoemaker, 30, of Bloomfield, arrested and charged with promoting prostitution. Officers texted a number posted on a website that advertises escort services. According to a police report, officers set up a meeting with Uher, who agreed to sexual acts. Police said Shoemaker drove Uher to meet them.
