Austintown crime activity: Suspect threatens boyfriend during abuse investigation, police say

Friday, April 5

5:58 p.m. – 3700 block of Huntmere Ave., Monica Gragorace, 28, arrested and charged with domestic violence threats. A child reported being hit by Gragorace, who was intoxicated, according to a police report. Police said when they arrived at the apartment, officers heard Gragorace yell, “I’ll hit you again, lil’ n****a!” Police said the boy asked officers if they could help his mother because he missed how she used to treat him. Officers reported that Gragorace threatened to kill her boyfriend while they were investigating. 

Saturday, April 6

2:50 p.m. – 6000 block of Mahoning Ave., Tara Hall, 34, charged with theft. A loss prevention associate at Walmart reported that Hall didn’t scan $62 worth of items at the self-checkout register. 

10:38 p.m. – Compass West and S. Edgehill Avenue, Brandon Williams, 34, of Youngstown, charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop.
