YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -On Sunday, Jim Tressel, YSU president, sat down with First News to further discuss the plans YSU has pu tin place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He discussed issues on student financial concerns, primarily on those who paid for housing on campus and for face-to-face instruction.
Tressel also explained the process for faculty and staff at YSU and what the situation is looking like for them.
On Saturday afternoon, Youngstown State University Jim Tressel sent a video message to the students, faculty, staff and YSU community.
The message was in regards to the COVID-19 situation.
In the message, Tressel assured that they are working very hard to make sure “good things happen” at YSU.
He also advised students to remember to check their email for information as it comes in.
