LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – Columbiana County health officials provided an update on how they are going to handle COVID -19 vaccinations in the county. Watch the above video to see the original press conference from health officials on January 14.

Those who qualify for vaccines can call the county health department at 330-692-2210 or 330-429-5133, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. They’ll be able to speak to a staff member directly and schedule a vaccination, according to the health department.

You may be asked to present a copy of your ID, insurance or Medicare B card when obtaining a vaccine, however, the vaccine is free.

An administration fee may be charged and submitted to insurance companies, but there is no co-pay, according to Columbiana County health officials. The vaccine is free.

There are several locations across the county where the vaccine will be administered. You must be able to to prove your age, and appointments are mandatory at most of the locations.

Ohio opened up vaccine eligibility to all those ages 16 and older on March 29.
