CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – A $20,000 reward is being offered for information on a man who investigators said kidnapped a Cleveland girl in early May.

FBI Wanted: Child predator suspect vehicle, Cleveland, Ohio

The Cleveland division of the FBI and Elyria Police Department have released photos of the man and the car he was driving.

They said he abducted a 6-year-old girl from her Cleveland-area home on May 21. Investigators said he entered the home when the adults were sleeping and took the girl for 17 hours before dropping her off about two miles from her home.

Cleveland FBI spokeswoman Vicki Anderson said investigators have linked the man to another attempted abduction in Elyria. In February, police said a man tried to grab a 10-year-old girl from an unlocked bedroom window, but the girl was able to pull away and run to her father.

Anderson said the man is willing to enter homes to grab his victims. He was in the neighborhood one week prior to the May 21st abduction.

Police suspect he spoke with someone in each of the homes on social media to get information. Investigators don’t know if he is local to the area.

The 6-year-old victim told police the man took her to a home where a man and woman cooked chicken for the suspect and left. She said he hid her and told her to keep quiet while they were there.

The man was driving a 2002 or 2003 Chevy Malibu with a mismatched-colored front driver’s side fender.
