YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – This past year brought record-breaking auto sales, with 17 million cars sold throughout the country.
Senator Sherrod Brown says that since 2010, the number of auto sales has continued to grow, especially at the Lordstown GM plant.
Brown is concerned about the changes Congress and Republican leaders are trying to make.
“Republican leaders in Congress are pushing for another trade agreement that, frankly, will do as much or more damage as [the North American Free Trade Agreement] did to our auto industry,” he said.
Brown believes the trade agreement doesn’t make sense for the country.
