William Allen “Speedo” Miller, Sr., 56, of 2388 Willow Drive SW, Warren, Ohio, departed this life Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 2:04 a.m. at Trumbull Memorial Regional Medical Center, of congestive heart failure.

He was born January 6, 1963 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Glen Miller and Marlene V. Owens Johnson, residing in the area for seven years, coming from Meadville, PA.

Speedo was a member of Hoyt Street Church of God In Christ and enjoyed cooking, singing and playing chess.

He married Tammy Renee Evans Miller September 30, 2011.

Besides his wife of Warren, he leaves to mourn two sons, Brian E. Miller and William A. (Kerrie) Miller, Jr. both of Meadville, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Ms. Vontisha Williams of Warren; four stepsons, Howard Lindsey, Jr., Anthony Lindsey, Phillip Lindsey all of Meadville, Pennsylvania and James (Angela) Wofford III of Franklin, Pennsylvania; four stepdaughters, Ms. Denise Lindsey of Ft. Worth, Texas, Mrs. Natalie (Kenny) Harris of Meadville, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Mary (Akin) Moody of Farrell, Pennsylvania and Mrs. Shawania (Rick) Douglas of Liberty Township; 56 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Michael Miller and Norman Miller.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel.

Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 27.

Family will receive friends at 2388 Willow Drive SW, Warren.

A television tribute will air Monday, February 25 at the following approximate times: 6:41 a.m. WYTV and 8:41 a.m. MyYTV and 9:58 a.m. on FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
