YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Thomas “Mo” Morar, age 80, of Youngstown, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Warren.
He was born on January 31, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Farr) Morar.
Tom worked at General Motors in Lordstown for 38 years.
His most favorite passion was riding his motorcycles and watching his favorite Cleveland sport teams.
Memories of Thomas will be carried on by his loving family; his significant other, Cheryl Durig of Newton Falls; Debbie and (Jim) London of Austintown; a son, Jason Morar of Virginia; two sisters, Beverly Kozic of Austintown and Mary Calihari of Cleveland; brothers, Daniel Morar of Liberty Township, Richard Morar of Youngstown and Nicholas Xeros of Sheffield Lake; granddaughter, Shelby London; grandson, Christian London; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Rylie and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Morar and his parents Betty Xeros and Dan Morar.
Per Thomas wishes, cremation has taken place.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls.
A memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Following the memorial service, there will be an escorted procession to the Thirsty Frog in Austintown.
