Susan Marie Redmond, 59, of 169 Baker Road, Lot 10, Greenville, (Otter Creek Township), Pennsylvania, passed away following an extended illness at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at her residence.

She was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania on November 1, 1959 to James H. Smith and Judith A. (Henretty) Pence.

Susan attended Reynolds High School in Greenville, then moved to Mercer High School where she graduated in 1977.

She received an associate degree in business administration from Penn State Shenango, in Sharon.

Susan worked for 17 years as a secretary at Sharon Steel in the pension department and 12 years as a C.N.A. at the former White Cliff Nursing Home in Greenville.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking and socializing.

Susan is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Redmond, Sr. of Greenville. Also surviving are one son, Ronald A. Redmond, Jr. of Greenville; her mother, Judith A. Pence of Sharon; two sisters, Vickie Roby of Hermitage and Amy Jean Fitzgerald and her husband, Wayne, of Ohio; two brothers, James A. Smith and his wife, Ginger, of Mercer and Joseph A. Smith and his wife, Crystal, of Greenville and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Ronald L. Smith and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018, from 3:00 – 3:45 p.m. at Osborne-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 73-75 Columbia Avenue, Greenville, where a memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
