Sarah “Sally” M. Higgs-Culver, 86, of Warren, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 26, 1932, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harold and Irene (Weitzel) Holzbach.
Sally retired from Packard Electric after 29 years of service.
She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, camping, casinos and her yard. She was a Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed NASCAR, her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
Sally was also a member of SCOPE.
Sally will be deeply missed by her four children; two daughters, Cathy (Jeff) Gross and JoAnn (Keith) Parkhurst and two sons, Timothy Culver and Michael (Marie) Culver all of Warren, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Norma Root.
In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Sue Culver; son, Richard Lee Culver, Jr.; sister, Marion Mason and brothers, Ralph and Harold Holzbach.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Jim Dittmar will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday, October 27 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greene Township, Ohio.
