Ryan Joseph Ivany, 28, of Austintown, left his family on Sunday, April 22, 2018. His departure was a shock and surprise to all that loved him. His energy and vibrant personality will remain with all of us, until we are re-united with him once again.
Ryan, son of Thomas and Robin (Savon) Ivany, was born In Youngstown on June 6, 1989, at 4:44 a.m. He entered this world wide-eyed and very anxious to meet everyone. His early entrance told us volumes about his fighting demeanor. Ryan’s charismatic personality gleamed through the mischievous twinkle in his eyes. He was infectiously funny and had a massive army of friends, all of whom adored being in his company.
He graduated from Canfield High School in 2008 and attended the University of Akron and Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He had a deep sense of team comradery and enjoyed many years of competitive sports. He was an outstanding athlete with the strength, endurance and work ethic necessary to be a winner.
Ryan was the Health and Safety Director at New Day Recovery in Boardman.
Ryan was a member of St. Michael Parish in Canfield.
He had a tremendous love and appreciation for his family and enjoyed creating innumerable memories with them. His sense of loyalty towards those he loved was evident by his constant desire to make others laugh and feel good. Ryan was unusually bright, always witty and had an abundance of energy.
He will be dearly missed by his mother, Robin Savon Ivany; his father, Thomas (Stephanie) Ivany; his brother, Thomas Scott (Haley) Ivany; his sister, Kristen Nicole (Brennan) Diana; his two nieces, Kallie and Kaia Diana; his grandparents, Felix (Christine) Savon, all of Canfield and Patricia Ivany of Boardman and his girlfriend, Erica Runyan of Austintown. Ryan also leaves three stepsisters, Kayla Lamagna of Columbus, Arica (Justin) Debaggis of Cleveland and Nicole LaMagna of Canfield.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theresa Savon and William Ivany.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 26 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Parish in Canfield and on Friday, April 27 from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. at St. Michael’s followed by a Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.
All material contributions will go towards trust funds which will be set up for Ryan’s nieces, Kallie and Kaia Diana.
