A homegoing celebration in honor of Ms. Pauline Cornelius will be held Friday, April 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Avenue Church of God in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Rev. Charles Johnson, Pastor will officiate the services and deliver the eulogy.
Ms. Cornelius departed this life Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at her residence in Wheatland, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Cornelius was born July 29, 1943 in Sharon a daughter of Rodney and Ella Johnson Cornelius.
She was formerly employed with the Farrell Area School District and enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a loving mother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, LaSonya (Donald “Ray”) Dyson, Karen D. Cornelius-Parker, Natalyn (Melvin) Kimble, Althea “Nay” (Myron) Johnson whom she considered her daughters; her siblings, Josephine (Clifton) Bolling, Leroy (Dorcelia) Cornelius and Leroy Quarrells; a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her companion, Alphonse Allen and her grandson, Rodney Kenneth Cornelius.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 5 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
The family will also receive friends at the home of her brother, Leroy and Dorceila Cornelius, 359 N. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage Pennsylvania.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
