Nimala Alamin, “Nim”, has passed away. He completed his work on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

He is survived by his fiancée, Cara Sinchek; his parents; four sons; one stepdaughter; two brothers; one sister and a multitude of loving relatives and friends.

Terri Bright and Pesha Alamin welcomed him into the world on a warm September day in 1978.

He grew to become a respected member of his community and devoted father. He believed in living life to the fullest and without fear. His heart was large and he welcomed many into it. He enjoyed fitness, traveling and cars but above all else he enjoyed bringing smiles to the many faces he encountered along his life’s journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Friday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m.

Friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to services on Friday, March 22.

Arrangements entrusted to the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
