Martin P. Emerine, 74, of Bristolville, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at his residence.
He was born December 22, 1943 in Warren, a son of Paul and Margaret (Bradford) Emerine.
Martin was a 1961 graduate of Bristol High School and was employed as fabricator and welder for various companies, most recently King Bros., for many years prior to retiring in 2009.
He married the former Karen Anne Miller on April 10, 1965. They shared almost 52 years of marriage and many happy memories together. She preceded him in death on March 25, 2017.
Martin was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Mecca. He had also been active with the Boy Scouts and served as past Scoutmaster of Troop 75.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going for his morning coffee and to spend time chatting with his friends at Monty’s coffee shop.
He is survived by his son, Jeffery A. Emerine of Bristolville; a brother, Thomas Emerine of Rock Creek, Ohio a sister, Beverly Huffman of Vienna and a granddaughter, Alexis McCrimmon.
Besides his wife, Martin was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wendy McCrimmon and a brother, Gerald Emerine.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Avenue, Warren, with Pastor Fred Keener officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24 at the funeral home prior to services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that material contributions be made to the Bristolville Church of the Brethren, 6400 Thompson Clark Road, Bristolville, OH 44402 or to the Wildare United Methodist Church, 7211 N. Park Avenue Extension, Cortland, OH 44410, in his memory.
