WARREN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Martha Delores Ivy, 86, of 1640 Coventry Street NE, Warren, Ohio, departed this life Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 1:55 p.m.at her residence of natural causes.

She was born October 30, 1932 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of James and Ida Lacey Ivy, residing in the area since 1950, coming from McDonald, Ohio.

Ms. Ivy was employed with Packard Electric, Division of General Motors for 15 years as an assembler, before retiring in 2006.

She was recently baptized by the First Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed walking and reading.

She was a 1950 graduate of McDonald High School.

She leaves to mourn seven sons, Lance Ivy of Warren, Dwayne Ivy of Houston, Texas, Brody (Kimberly) Hillstock of Kansas City, Kansas, Calvin Hall of Columbus, Alvin (Colenda) Hall and Vincent (Debra) Hall both of Atlanta, Georgia and Ian Hansing of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia (Bernard, Sr.) Provitt of Warren, Ms. Phyllis Ware of Cleveland and Mrs. Lynelle (Daniel) Ivy-Snipes of Warren; two brothers, Hershel Ivy of North Carolina and Stanhouse Ivy; three sisters, Ms. Carol Brightwell of Howland, Ms. Eleanor Ivy of Warren and Ms. Emily Burke of Youngstown; 27 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Pete Ivy and Lewis Ivy and three sisters, Ms. Florence Parker, Ms. Marietta Grant and Ms. Anna Provitt.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel.

Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.

Family will receive friends at 2710 Beal Street NW, the home of her daughter, Mrs. Patricia Provitt.

Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.

A television tribute will air Wednesday, April 10 at the following approximate times: 6:41 a.m. WYTV and 8:41 a.m. MyYTV and 9:58 a.m. on FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
