Madalyn C. Gregory, age 77, of Mercer, Pennsylvania, formerly of Donation Road, Otter Creek Township, passed away Friday morning, March 15, 2019.
She was born in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania on September 23, 1941, a daughter of Billy and Leona (Gadsby) Greggs.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School and had been employed as a clerk for 18 years at J.C. Penny’s in Greenville.
She was a member of Oak Grove Church, Mercer.
In May of 1961, she married Richard Gregory, he survives at home. Also surviving are two sons, R. Scott Gregory and his wife, Susan, of Salem, Ohio and Christian L. Gregory of Mercer; two sisters, Sherlyn Hughes of Franklin and Roxelyn Say of Oil City; a sister-in-law, Maxine Fuller of Franklin; two grandchildren, Brittany Smith and Zachary Gregory and a great-grandson, Easton Smith.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 18 from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 South Main Street, Greenville, Pennsylvania.
A funeral service will be held following visitation on Monday, March 18 at 2:30 p.m.at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Richey, Pastor of Oak Grove Church, Mercer, officiating.
Burial will be in Rocky Glen Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
