CHAMPION, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Leona “Jean” Bazilius, 89, of Windsor House of Champion, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 6:54 p.m. in Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
She was born October 24, 1929, in Somerset, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Clifford and Esther (Dwire) Sechler and was a lifelong area resident.
A homemaker, Jean was of the Presbyterian faith.
Leona is survived by a son, Donald (Robyn) J. Flickinger of Desmet, South Dakota.
Besides her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a daughter, Esther L. Yarbrough and two brothers, Silas and Clarence Sechler.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services held and a caring cremation will take place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.
