Leah M. Stubbs, 91, of Berlin Center passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 26, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Boardman Campus.
Leah was born June 20, 1927 in Youngstown the daughter of David J. and Thelma (Wallace) Simon.
She graduated from South High School and attended nursing school at Southside Hospital.
She retired in 1987 from Dr. Rudge Dental Office in Canfield after more than 30 years of service as a dental assistant.
Her life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she spent as much time surrounding herself with them as possible.
Leah leaves four children, Susan (James) Yoder of Columbiana, Pat (Harry) Owen and Danny (Beth) Stubbs both of Berlin Center and Lori (Bill) Richter of Canfield; as well as 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Thelma Simon.
Following Leah’s wishes there are no calling hours or services.
The family requests material tributes take the form of donations to the Salem Visiting Nurses in her name.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Lane Family Funeral Homes Canfield Chapel.
