Lavonne “Bonnie” Marciel Young, 82, of Southington, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018.

She was born January 30, 1936, in Southington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell R. and Florence C. (Craver) Baugher. 

On October 22, 1954, Bonnie married Raymond E. Young, Jr. They shared 58 years of marriage and many wonderful memories until his passing August 13, 2013.

She was a 1954 graduate of Southington High School and was as homemaker.

Bonnie was a member of the Beta Club, Southington Booster Club, Southington Athletic Recreation Club, Pythian Sisters Lodge in West Farmington and Southington Methodist Church.

She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and watching her favorite NASCAR driver, Kevin Harvick. Most of all, Bonnie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed baking cookies with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Raymond E. (Shirley) Young III of Southington, Ohio, Russell E. (Cynthia) Young of Southington, Ohio, Wendy A. (Ron) Moore of Champion, Ohio and Scott A. (Tina) Young of South Carolina; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and siblings, Josephine Bailey of Warren, Ohio, Robert Baugher of Southington, Ohio and Betty Len of Southington, Ohio. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Daniel Baugher, Eileen Graham, Vernon Baugher, Russell Baugher, Violet Shaffer, Alice Davis, Elwyn “Pep” Baugher, Bill E. Baugher, Helen Cummins, Marie Lynn and Charles Baugher and her late dog, Pepper.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Jim George will officiate.

The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17 at the funeral home prior to services.
