Suellen Blasdell died early Wednesday morning, April 3, at her residence.
Suellen was born May 6, 1944 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Aloysius and Sara (Ray) Schulz and was a lifelong area resident.
She graduated from Canfield High School in 1962 and worked as a supervisor for General Motors/Packard/Delphi for 27 years, retiring January 1, 1999.
Suellen was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was past president of the Canfield Republican Women’s Club and was an avid antique dealer.
She leaves her husband, William A. Blasdell, whom she married July 17, 1966; two sons, William Blasdell, Jr. of Canfield and John Andrew (Rachel Rutter) Blasdell of Florida and six grandchildren. Suellen also leaves a brother, Thomas Schulz of Mentor and a sister, Nancy Schulz of Canfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
The family will celebrate the life of Suellen in a private service.
