Shirley M. Morris, 80, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.
Shirley was born March 27, 1938, in Warren, Ohio to the late Leroy and Maybelle (Frisbie) Schisler.
She was a member of Pricetown United Methodist Church.
Shirley was a teacher at Jackson-Milton Schools for over 30 years, retiring in 1994.
She enjoyed reading and her flowers. She loved Tennessee Walking Horses. Shirley was an avid Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Besides her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, George and Evelyn Tomaino.
She is survived by her stepchildren, Mike (Wendy) Morris, Valerie (Tom) Reitz and Donna Morris; granddaughter, Journey Morris; her brothers, Sam (Pam) Schisler and Frank (Marge) Tomaino; her sister, Mary (Jerry) Herron; numerous nieces and nephews and her canine companion, Gabby.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Pricetown United Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Road, with Pastor Jerry Herron, officiant.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., at the church on Saturday, April 13.
