YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – A Right of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, Ohio 44515, for Alice M. Wilds, 83, who passed away Tuesday evening, April 30, 2019 at her residence in Anderson, South Carolina.

Alice was born March 25, 1936 in Youngstown, a daughter of Paul and Anna (Nagy) Molchany.

She was employed with the Mahoning County Clerk of Courts in Sebring.

Alice was a 1954 graduate of Ursuline High School.

She was a member of the Youngstown Saxon Club-Branch No. 22, the Youngstown Maennerchor the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 3298-Meander Auxiliary in Austintown, the Sebring V.F.W. No. 6730, the Youngstown Chapter of DARE, Youngstown Solo Parents, the American Business Women’s Association, the Gold Torch Chapter, the J.F. K. Democrats of Youngstown, the Federated Democratic Women of Ohio, the Ohio Association of Municipal Court Clerks, the Hungarian Club of Youngstown, the Ladies of the Oriental Shrine and a lifetime member of the Ohio Public Employees.

Alice enjoyed baking, bowling and was a long-time member of a 500 card club.

Her husband, Harold “Marve” Wilds, whom she married December 26, 1987, died May 19, 2012.

Alice is survived by her children, Donald R. Manners, Jr. of Canfield, Denise (Mike) McHugh of Anderson, South Carolina and Diane Barber, also of Anderson, South Carolina; her sister, Carolyn Rowe of Cleveland; her stepchildren, Sue Wilds of Charleston, South Carolina and Thomas (Georgette) Wilds of Chandler, Arizona; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice “Tammy” Manners; her sisters, Pauline Bracken and Nancy Orr; her grandsons, Donald R. Manners lll and David E. Manners and her son-in-law, David Barber.

Friends may call from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 6, prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Shriner’s Hospitals in care of the Youngstown Shrine Club, P.O. Box 302, North Lima, OH 44452.
