SALEM, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Lance P. Henry, 46, of Salem, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
Lance was a long-time resident of Columbiana County.
Lance was born June 27, 1972 in Salem, a son of Dana Henry and Trina (Britton) Drotleff.
He was a 1990 graduate of East Palestine High School.
He had been employed most recently at multiple cell phone tower companies as a climber and prior to that he had work for Eljer’s in Salem.
Lance coached pee wee football and loved fishing with his uncle and his boys.
He is survived by his mother, Trina (Fred) Drotleff and his father, Dana (Rose) Henry all of East Palestine; his wife, Michelle (Mudger) Henry of Salem; three sons, Mike (Kristen) Davis of Salem, Brandon (Nicole) Henry of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and Jakob (Emilie) Henry of Creech AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada; a grandson, Brantley Colt Henry; two brothers, Aaron DeBee of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Ryan (Melissa) Henry of East Palestine and two sisters, Geenie (Kevin) Clark of East Palestine and Amber (Mike) O’Brien of Columbus; as well as his father-in-law, Mike (Marcella) Mudger of Salem.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Cathy Henry.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine, with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service.
The family requests donations to the funeral home in lieu of flowers to help with expenses.
A television tribute will air Friday, May 3 at the following approximate times: 12:25 p.m. WKBN, 6:58 p.m. on MyYTV and 10:37 p.m. FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
