STRUTHERS, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Jean Rucci, 92 of Struthers, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at her home.
Jean was born on August 3, 1927, in Hillsville, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Luigi and Florence (Creature) Biangone.
She was a member at Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
She worked for the Struthers City Schools as a cleaning matron and was a homemaker.
Jean is survived by her children, Patricia (John) Francosky of Chesterfield, Missouri, Anthony Rucci of Columbus, Ohio and Louis (Phyllis) Rucci of Boardman; four brothers, Dominick Biangone, Frank (JoAnn) Biangone, Joseph (Carol) Biangone and Anthony Biangone; one sister, Georgina (Carmen) Cucitrone; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rucci whom she married on March 22, 1947, he died on January 10, 1988; a sister, Lucy DiCarlo and two brothers, Peter and James Biangone.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., 258 Poland Avenue in Struthers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, 10:30 a.m. at the Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church, with Rev. Martin Celuch, officiating. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. for church.
Entombment will take place in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
